Preston Phillips, 90, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Community Retirement Home in Port Arthur.

He was born in Palmetto, Louisiana on December 20, 1927 to Walter and Hattie Phillips. He worked at Texaco as an operator for 40 years.  Preston served in the U. S. Air Force.

Preston was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Celia Phillips.

He is survived by his daughter, Marie Gross and her husband, Roland of Groves, his son, Roy Phillips and his wife, Melanie of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Chelsea Phillips and Michael Gross and his wife, Kamala along with one great grandson, Cody Gross.

Burial was held at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.
