4 found in car with drugs, weapons

Four men were arrested Tuesday morning on a variety of charges after they were found in a vehicle with drugs and weapons.

Beaumont police said they were called to the 2600 block of Houston over a suspicious parked vehicle around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

There, police found a 2010 Hyundai parked in a vacant lot, south of a residence.

The investigation led officers to recover 2.56 ounces of suspected synthetic marijuana and two firearms. One of the firearms was reported stolen from the police station. All four subjects were arrested and transported to Jefferson County Jail.

Suspects, all from Beaumont, included:

  • Larry Williams, 27, charged with possession of controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, theft of firearm.
  • Bryan Wilturner, 27, charged with possession of controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, theft of firearm and parole violation.
  • Aaron Kimble, 23, charged with possession of a controlled substance and theft of a firearm.
  • Michael Relford, 41, charged with possession of controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, theft of firearm and parole violation.

All four suspects were taken to Jefferson County Jail. No bond was set Wednesday morning.
