Jerry Lean Hurts

Jerry Lean Hurts, 84, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.  A native of Goudeau, LA she was a resident of Port Arthur since 1959.  After working for over 40 years for several local cleaners, she retired from Memorial Cleaners in 2006.  Jerry Lean was a member of New Light Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister Rosa Jackson, Port Arthur; brother Arthur James Hurts, Natchez, MS; brother-in-law, Dan Steward, Port Arthur, TX: 32 nieces, nephews, and a host of great-nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 12 p.m. until service time.
