Port Arthur Police Department responded to an aggravated robbery shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday at M&D Grocery, 1701 Memorial Blvd.

A  suspect, identified by police only as a black male, entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect then fled on foot, police said, and was unable to be located. This incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division.
