Driver killed in 2-vehicle wreck in Vidor

One driver died, the other was transported to the hospital with injuries following a two-vehicle wreck in Vidor on Tuesday.
Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll said the collision occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Highway 12 near FM 1132, Evangeline Drive. An investigation was continuing.
Carroll said Justice of the Peace Rodney Price pronounced one victim dead at the scene. The other was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He said the name of the deceased would be withheld Wednesday afternoon pending notification of the family.
