Stephen Randolph Huff

Stephen Randolph Huff, loving son, brother and friend passed away peacefully, September 15, 2018, with his family by his side.   

Stephen was an Eagle Scout, an honor he took very seriously, as well as an Order of the Arrow member. He loved all things outdoors. He was an expert marksman; certified by the NRA and loved competing with his family and friends. He enjoyed all types of shooting sports, card games, and dominoes.   Stephen was an avid collector of many things, such as any item showcasing the American Eagle, old coins, and most notably, a massive stamp collection that began in early childhood. He loved tinkering and was an inventor of many helpful tools his family and friends still use today. Stephen was knowledgeable in so many areas, including but not limited to wiring residential houses to the quickest way to win at Gin Rummy. Stephen will be missed by his family and all those who took the time to know him during his 62 years.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Lynas Anders Huff and his mother, Mary Barbara Fallwell Huff, of McCall Creek, Mississippi.

He is survived by three younger brothers, Mark Huff, David Huff, and John Huff, all of Beaumont, Texas; and one younger sister, Margaret Huff Ronquille of Sour Lake, Texas.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Cemetery in McCall Creek, Mississippi, with Father Henry Shelton of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church officiating. A private rosary will be recited prior to burial.  A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas.
