VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: Rock-A-Noos now 2-0 in district; Bulldogs next

Through two matches, Port Neches-Groves has not lost a set.

The Indians are going at the same pace in District 21-5A as they did in last year 22-5A, when they gave up just one set, and have increased their winning streak in district play to 20 matches Friday with a 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 win over Dayton in Port Neches.

The triumph comes one match before PNG (24-4, 2-0) hosts the team it last dropped a district match to — archrival Nederland. The Bulldogs, who also took the only district set from PNG last year, beat the Rock-A-Noos in four sets on Oct. 12, 2016, in Port Neches.
