A Groves man who police say fired a shotgun into a wall and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and “everybody” at Sneaky Pete’s restaurant was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury Wednesday.

Chad Joseph Ray Flores, 35, was indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, which is a third-degree felony.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers were dispatched to a home in Groves in reference to a person shooting a gun inside a home. While at the home, police were told that Flores had threatened two women with a shotgun while demanding keys to a vehicle in order to confront an ex-girlfriend. When the women refused he fired the shotgun into the front wall of the living room and threatened to shoot them if they did not comply.
