John Jake Alexander, a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was a 1975 graduate of Lincoln High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation is scheduled from 8:00 am until 9:30 am and funeral service will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday September 1, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Sampson Etim officiating.

John leaves to cherish the memories of his life:  three sisters Cecilia Alexander, and Dana Alexander both of Port Arthur, Texas., Lona Alexander-Mitchell (Lester) of Fannett, Texas ; two brothers Michael Alexander (Erin) of Pearland, Texas, and  Josiah Alexander, Jr. (Sherry) of Port Arthur, Texas;  one surviving aunt,  Marie Lee of Port Arthur, Texas;  and a host of family and friends.
