An Orange woman was killed late Monday when the vehicle in which she was traveling was involved in a two-vehicle collision in Beaumont.

Police said in an issued statement that Samantha Swanson, 45, was traveling in a Ford Trac truck around 8:30 p.m. when the vehicle, headed north on South MLK, failed to yield at a light on Florida Avenue, turning westbound, where it was in collision with a Ford F-150 truck.

Police said the Trac was hit on its right passenger side.

Swanson was taken to a local hospital with multiple injuries where she died, police said.
