Ede Sinette, Sr., 83, of Port Arthur, TX was born October 2, 1934 to the late Joe Sinette and Edmonia Sinette of Grand Coteau, LA.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Evada Sinette; three brothers, Francis X. Sinettte, Edward Sinette, and Joseph Sinette and one son James Roland Sinette.

Ede attended school in Sunset, LA and was employed with C.A. Turner at Texaco.  He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  His final hour came August 18, 2018 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

He leaves to cherish his love and memories with his two loving and devoted sons, Ede Sinette, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Donald Ray Sinette of Port Arthur, TX; his two loving daughters-in-law, Kathy Sinette of Port Arthur, TX and Mary Sinette of Jacksonville, FL; one sister-in-law, Shirley Stout (Wilbert) of Opelousas, LA; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five nieces, and a host of extended relatives and close friends.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
