A female employee at a local pawn show suffered minor injuries after a strong arm robbery Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. at EZ Pawn, 3427 Twin City Hwy.

The employee’s injuries occurred when she was pushed against a door, Port Arthur Police Det. Mike Hebert said.

The suspect fled across the street toward the cemetery and was taken in custody about five minutes later.
