HOUSTON —  The Coast Guard is searching for a boater who fell overboard near Moses Lake, Texas, on Friday.

Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a notification at 8:30 p.m. of a 40-year-old male who reportedly fell from a 22-foot recreational vessel without a lifejacket.

Involved in the search are:

• Coast Guard Station Galveston 29-foot Response Boat–Small boat crew
• Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew
• Texas City Fire Department
