A Celebration of Pastor Mark Follett’s life, age 55, of Jasper, TX, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at St Paul Lutheran Church in Jasper, TX.  Graveside service will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Port Arthur, Texas, at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church.

Pastor Mark was a native of Port Arthur, Texas, and a resident of Jasper. He was a 1981 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia Lutheran College in Austin, Texas, and Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St Louis, Missouri.  He was a Lutheran pastor for 21 years and was currently serving as Pastor of St Paul Lutheran Church in Jasper, and Faith Lutheran Church in Woodville.  He loved to sing praises to the Lord.

Mark is survived by his wife, Terressa Hennigan Follett, of Jasper, Texas; his father and step-mother, Albert and Betty Follett, of Nederland, Texas; his mother, Dorothy Follett, of Groves, Texas; and his sister, Carrie Leyendecker, of Groves, Texas.  He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church, Jasper, or Faith Lutheran Church, Woodville.
