Two local rappers are making their way to the top one step at a time.

Renegade Music — a pairing of Darius Palmer, known as Flow Majestic, and Cameron Roberts, known as CamBreezy, won first place at Coast 2 Coast Live in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this month after competing with others from across the U.S. This means they will travel to Miami, Florida in 2019 for the finals and a cash prize, Palmer’s mom Lorna Vital said.

Coast 2 Coast Live is touted as the largest artist showcase in the world leading up to a world championship showcase, according to their website.

Both rappers are from Port Arthur and recent graduates of Memorial High School.
