If the Babe Ruth World Series championship continues to reside in the Southwest Region, the Alabama Rawdogs of Mobile can take the credit.

Alabama beat Mid County twice in as many days to take back the Southwest Region title in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Rawdogs won Monday’s championship 20-3, in five innings after sending the Nederland-based team to the losers’ bracket final with a 4-0 win Sunday.

Mid County then played its way to the final with an 8-1 win over Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Sunday night.
