NBA: Rockets announce Summer League team

The Houston Rockets announced their invitees to mini-camp for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, July 6-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion, both on the campus of UNLV.

Veterans include guard former Texas A&M forward Danuel House, former Baylor forward Quincy Miller, guard Markel Brown, guard R.J. Hunter, center Chinanu Onuaku and forward-center Zhou Qi. Rookies include guard Rob Gray of the University of Houston, forward Deng Adel of Louisville, forward Gary Clark of Cincinnati, guard Trevon Duval of Duke, forward Vincent Edwards of Purdue, guard Shannon Evans of Arizona State, forward-center Isaiah Hartenstein, an American who played with Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania, guard De’Anthony Melton of Southern California, forward Roger Moute a Bidias of California and forward Isaiah Wilkins of Virginia.

Melton (46th overall) was the Rockets’ only selection in the June 21 NBA draft.

Houston will play at 2 p.m. July 6 against Indiana on NBA TV, 6:30 p.m. July 8 against Golden State on ESPN2 and 10:30 p.m. July 9 against the Los Angeles Clippers on NBA TV.
