Johnnie Fed Johnson was born March 30, 1953 in Oak Ridge, LA to the late Fred Watkins and Nobie Brown.  He accepted Christ at an early age.  He peacefully departed this world on May 31, 2018 at his home.  He was a member of the Lincoln High School Class of 1971.  He also served in the United States Marine Corp from 1971 until 1973 where he received an honorary discharge for his service.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Charlotte Brooks Johnson; his brother John Johnson, Sr.; five daughters, Shyrona, Vyrona, Arneisha, Cimira and LaKechia; five sons, Derrick, Marvis, Johnny Jr., Tyrik, and Devottee; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nieces and nephews, and a host of beloved family and friends.

Homegoing services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church, 3920 Cardinal Drive, Beaumont, TX with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time.  Rev. John Adolph, Pastor and Bishop David Higgins, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
