Charles Ranka, 94, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Port Arthur.  A native of Cicero, IL served his country in the United Sates Marine during WWII.  He was a long time resident of Port Arthur and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He was a Process Operator for Dupont , retiring after 48 years.

Mr. Ranka was preceded in death by his wife Earline; a sister, Patricia Ranka and two sons, David Ranka and Scott Ranka. He is survived by his son, James (Cathy) Ranka of Port Neches. Mr. Ranka is, also, survived by three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today, 2:00pm, in the Chapel of Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until the service hour. Mr. Ranka will be entombed at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
