Wendall Lee White, Sr.

Wendall Lee White Sr., 88, of Beaumont, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2018.  He was born in Beaumont on November 15, 1929, to the late Myrtle and Benjamine White.

Wendall was a Navy Veteran and worked as a machinist for Pure Oil refinery for over 30 years.  An activity that made him the happiest was when he was outdoors, especially when he got to go fishing at Toledo Bent or the beach.

Wendall will be reunited with his wife of 52 years, Yvonne; his son Wendall Jr.; and 5 brothers.

Those left to carry on Wendall’s memory are his son Ben White and wife Kathy; daughter Colleen Porter and husband Frank; grandchildren, Tiffany Elmore, Kristy Vitovsky and husband John, Stephen White and wife Kylie, and Carrie Carr and husband Tim; 11 great-grandchildren; brother William ‘Bill’ White and wife Betty; sister-in-law Theresa Musgrove; and a number of special nieces and nephews.

A Gathering to Share Memories of Wendall will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

A Celebration of Wendall’s Life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, at 3:00 pm, with Rev. Alexander officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors being rendered by the Southeast Texas Veteran’s Service Group.
