GROVES — Sign-up for this year’s 2018 Groves Pecan Festival Queen’s Scholarship Pageant is ongoing and will end at noon on Friday, July 13.

Girls age 3-years to 12^th grade who reside in Groves may pick up applications at the Groves Chamber of Commerce. Completed applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Each category will be limited to 15 contestants. Once the category is filled, no more applications will be accepted. Categories go by grade. This year’s pageant will be held on Saturday, September 22^nd.

Contestants in the Queen’s Division will compete for the following scholarship amounts:

Queen – $1,000 scholarship

1^st Runner-up – $750 scholarship

2^nd Runner-up – $500 scholarship

Applications must be picked up and returned completed with registration fees by noon on Friday, July 13, 2018 to the Groves Chamber of Commerce office. No late applications will be accepted. Contestants must live in Groves.
