Nederland Police have released with two persons of interest in the homicide of Michael Legg.

Michael Odell Legg, 40, who was found dead in his Beauxart Gardens Road home Wednesday, died as a result of multiple injuries due to an assault, according to Jefferson County Pct. 8 Justice of the Peace Tom Gillam III.

Legg’s body was discovered in his home in the 8100 block of Beauxart Gardens Road when police were responding to a call of two suspicious men in the neighborhood.
