Dorothy M. Washington received her wings and was called home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2018.  A native of Franklin, LA and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX, she was a devoted mother, loving wife and homemaker.

As a member of First Sixth Street Baptist Church, she served on the board of ushers for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and one son.

She leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories, three sons: Walter E. Jones (Sharon), Robert L. Jones, both of Port Arthur, Texas and Terry L. Washington (Stacia) of Missouri City, Texas, two nieces, one nephew, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018, 2pm at Hannah Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kalan Gardner, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 12noon. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home. Inc.
