Norma Richardson (née Trahan)

Mrs. Norma Richardson (née Trahan), of Groves, TX, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the age of 86.

Norma was born to parents Madice and Annie Trahan on April 6, 1931 in Port Arthur, TX, where she grew up as the youngest of eight. In her early years Norma worked at Texaco refinery canning where she met her beloved husband Jack Richardson whom she married in October of 1957. She retired in the early 60’s to become a wife and homemaker and they were both longtime members of Friendship Baptist Church. Norma moved to Corinth, TX in 2013 to be near her daughter.

Norma is survived by her only daughter, Charlene Case; her sister, Mary Joyce Curry; and two grandchildren Mitchell and Andrew Case. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her 2 brothers Curtis and Harold Trahan; her parents Annie and Madice; her sisters Doris Reel, Maybelle Trahan, Bettye Ball, and Byrtie Whitmore.

Norma’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes buried beside her husband Jack at Memory Gardens in Nederland, TX.
