Ronald J. Ceaser

Ronald Ceaser was born July 11, 1961 in Lafayette, LA to the late Clara Ceasar and Lincoln Citizen.  He departed this life on March 9, 2018 at UTMB Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family.  Ronald was a resident of Port Arthur since 1993.  He was a devoted father and husband.  Ronald was employed with various construction companies for over 20 years.   He was a hardworking man and didn’t mind helping anyone in need.  Ronald also was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and will be truly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Patricia Milson (Mike) and Leola Davis; and one brother Huey Malbrough.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 21 years Linda Ceaser; two daughters, Ronda Broussard (Fabian) and Crystal Calhoun (Shirkhorigray); one son, Anthony Goudeau (Angela); eight sisters, (his twin) Connie Ceasar, Linda Davis, Judy Powell, Kathleen Nero (Fitzgerald), Belinda Jasmine, Lisa Citizen, Loraine Chaisson (Greg) and Charlot Citizen; seven brothers, Eddie Davis, Terry Davis (Vera), Lincoln Citizen, Linton Citizen, Wayne Ceasar, Jessie Citizen, and Leo Davis; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; five sisters-in-law, Dianna Brown, Josephine Harrell, Joanna Thomas (Carl), Nell McCarty (Bud), and Olivia Levine; five brothers-in-law, Sherman Brown, Willie Brown, Robert Brown, Louis Brown, and Henry Brown; and a very special and loving mother-in-law, Mary Helen Brown.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to all the physicians and hospital staff at UTMB for the care and attention they gave to Ronald.
