BEAUMONT — Beaumont Police are investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old man.

At 5:45 p.m. Beaumont Police responded to the 3900 block of Sunbury Drive in reference to a shooting victim, according to a press release from BPD.

The victim, Levi Pruitt of Beaumont was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. At this time, a suspect is not in custody, however, detectives are interviewing several witnesses and following leads. Anyone with information is asked to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234.
