Eva Nell Marie Bordelon, 77, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Eva was born on February 2, 1940 in Hessmer, Louisiana to parents Christine Juneau and Oliver J. Brouillette, Sr. She had lived in the Port Arthur area for many years and worked at Wal-Mart for over 15 years. Eva was an avid reader and she enjoyed going to Delta Downs to play the slots. She also was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church for over 20 years. Eva was a loving person who loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the “cornerstone” that was always there for her family. Eva will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Eva is survived by her son, Richard Paul Bordelon; her daughters, Lauren Oakes, Danette Fay Wright; her brothers, Marvin Brouillette, Oliver “Sonny” Brouillette, Jr.; sister, Patsy Miller. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Brandy Le, Rachel Wright, Wayne Hoop, Zachary Oakes, Sabrina Oakes, Courtney Bordelon and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
