Jefferson County offices were preparing to close at noon Tuesday because of declining weather conditions.

The courthouse will remain open in Beaumont so the Jefferson County Commissioner’s Court can hold its 1:30 meeting, then close after the meeting.

County offices will remain closed until noon Wednesday, when Jefferson County roads were expected to clear.
