Charles Valcin

Charles Valcin, 81, of Port Arthur passed away Friday, December 22, 2017.  A native of Abbeville, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Port Arthur and a member of Eastern Star Baptist Church.  He was a United States Army veteran.

Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mae Bell Mouton Valcin; eight children, Gary, Gail, Debra, Barry, Randy, Gregory, Yuel and Kelvin; brother, Jimmy Valsin; sisters, Gracie Valcin and Clara Hollings; one god child, Stella Castillo; 32 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Eastern Star Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
