Willie James Dorsey, Sr., 80, entered into eternal rest on December 17, 2017, at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX.

Willie was born October 15, 1937, in Lecompte, LA. He was retired from the City of Port Arthur.

He leaves to cherish memories, his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Dorsey; children, Calvin Van Bolds, Sr. Myrna Bolds, Willie (Diane) Dorsey, Jr., Spencer (Felicia) Dorsey, Gwendolyn (Clarence) Dorsey, Angela (Ellis) Dorsey , Cynthia (Willie) Johnson, Denise Guidry, Leonard Ray Guidry, Robert Earl Dorsey, Sr., and Christopher (Stacy) Dorsey; 34 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grand children; siblings, Robert Dorsey, Spencer (Enolia) Dorsey, Debbie (James) Bickham all of Port Arthur, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Visitation will begin at 11 A.M., followed by funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Rock Island Baptist Church, 549 W 11th St., Port Arthur, TX. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. Services are under the direction of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary (409) 762-8470
