James “Bo” Bryant, Jr., 77. of Port Arthur, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. James was born November 8, 1940, in Port Arthur, Texas to James Curly Bryant, Sr. and Helen Leviege Williams. Mr. Bryant served in the United States Navy as a machinist and retired from Sabine Offshore Services as an operator. James had a passion for working on cars and his family.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Curly Bryant, Sr. and a brother, Michael Ray Bryant. He is survived by his mother, Helen Leviege Williams; siblings, Martha Jacquet, Irma Stevenson of Port Arthur, Ralph Bryant of Lancaster, Texas, Mary Farrell of Port Arthur, Beatrice Guillory of Crowley, Louisiana, Cherry Nell Peacock of Port Arthur, Sebrenia Williams of San Antonio, John Williams of Port Arthur, Gregory Bryant of Fresno, Texas, James C. Bryant and Brandon D. Bryant of Port Arthur. Mr. Bryant is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017.
