LU OFFERING FREE BASEBALL CLINIC

A free baseball clinic for youths hosted by the Lamar baseball program will be held Jan. 20 at Vincent-Beck Stadium.
The camp is from 1-3 p.m. and open to kindergarten through eighth-grade. Glove, bat, helmet and baseball clothes are encouraged but not required.
An autograph signing sesssion will be included.

He previously served as sports editor since August 2015 and has won or shared eight first-place awards from state newspaper associations and corporations. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, grew up mostly in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
