Memorial now 3-0 after topping Houston Lamar

HOUSTON — Sophomore Nathan Clover was one rebound shy of a double-double, and Jamyus Jones led Port Arthur Memorial in scoring again in the Titans’ 64-51 win over Houston Lamar on Wednesday.

Jones scored 18 points and supplied five assists, Clover had nine rebounds to go with 17 points, and Thailan Wesley also had 17 points and six boards. The Titans (3-0) led 27-18 at halftime.

Memorial will take on Katy Tompkins on Saturday in Houston.
