Dr. Mona Kathryn Whitley

Born July 11, 1961 in Port Arthur, TX.  She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High in 1979, received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from University of Houston in 1985, received a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Phoenix in 1990 and received her PHD in Engineering from SMU in 2000.  Mona was a member of the AKA National Sorority & Ladies Tee Time Golf Club.  She was a member of the Potter’s House Church and the Bishop’s Choir.  She was employed by Abbot Labs and Alcon of Fort Worth, TX.  She is survived by her three brothers, Eddy, Freddy and Gery Whitley.
