He is calling them the Hurricane Harvey Hairstyling Heroes.

NBA star Steven Jackson and Judyette Jackson have agreed to allow this to take place at the Jackson Academy, 235 Procter St. from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Barnes is the inventor of a hair product that he claims grows hair back, called Q. Hair Regrowth Spray, which is sold in hundreds of salons around the country. He is also planning a run for Congress next year.

According to his press release, Barnes’ home was flooded by the storm and he was inspired to do something for those who were also affected.

He began to call the stylists who sell his products along with other top industry professionals to tell them what he saw. In his press release, Barnes reports that 50 hair stylists have committed to coming to do hair for free. They will be coming from other cities in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Washington, D.C.

“We welcome all Hurricane Harvey victims to come and be pampered for that day,” Barnes said in his press release. “Hair styling will be provided at no cost. We will also provide free massages as well. We hope to be able to accommodate at least 500 people, but as there are more stylists dedicating their time, more people are

going to be able to get their hair done.”
