NEDERLAND — The city of Nederland’s debris cleanup will begin on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The contractor’s trucks are much larger than the City’s trash truck so the city is asking that people move vehicles off city streets to allow easier access to pickup the piles along the street.

In addition, anyone who does not want their piles to not be picked up due to flood insurance to mark their pile “do not touch” or “do not pickup”. The city will address damaged mailboxes during the debris cleanup operation. If you have any questions, please contact 723-1542 or 723-1541.
