A list of places of worship open Sunday

Here is a list of places of worship known to be open for services on Sunday:
• The Gathering Place, 1011 Grigsby, Port Neches, will hold a national day of prayer service beginning at 10 a.m. The online campus service begins at 10:45 a.m.
• First Baptist Church of Nederland, 1911 Nederland Ave., will have service at 10:15. Members of Memorial Baptist Church in Port Arthur are invited to attend service here.
• First Sixth Street Baptist Church, 548 Lincoln Ave., Port Arthur, will hold service at 11 a.m. From 3-6 p.m., U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz will be on hand at First Sixth Street as members of the church will hand out supplies to those in need.
• The Pentecostals of Nederland, 2300 Spurlock Rd., will have services at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. A distribution center of food and water is ongoing here.
• Bulldog Stadium, 205 N. 21st St., Nederland, will hold a national day of prayer service starting at 6 p.m.
