After receiving more than two feet of water in less than 24 hours, the tortuous weather brought by now Tropical Storm Harvey may be nearly over.
The National Weather Service forecasters predict the chance of rain will diminish this afternoon and into the evening. With a flash flood warning still in effect until 4:30 p.m. today.
Tropical storm conditions are still possible this afternoon and heavy rain can occur as thunderstorms from the storm’s feeder bands pass through. At 12:40 p.m., sustained winds were clocked at 24 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
