PNG at Silsbee moved to 2 p.m. Saturday

The football season opener between Port Neches-Groves and Silsbee has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Silsbee.

PNG coach Brandon Faircloth said he should know by Thursday whether Silsbee’s field will be playable. If it isn’t, the game will move to PNG.

The sub-varsity games, Faircloth, added, have been canceled.

PNG had its home scrimmage game against West Brook canceled Friday.

Also, Sabine Pass announced that its season opener against Pasadena First Baptist has been moved to Deer Park High School at 7 p.m. Friday, as First Baptist does not have a field.
