WEST BROOK-PNG TO BENEFIT FUND

Friday’s football scrimmage games between West Brook and Port Neches-Groves are designated as “Our Day to Shine”.

The scrimmages benefit the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation’s Benevolence Fund, which assists athletes and coaches with special needs or hardships. To date, more than 900 schools have participated in “Our Day to Shine” and have raised more than $422,000.

Admission is $1. The freshman scrimmage is scheduled for 5 p.m., with the junior varsity to play at 6 p.m. and the varsity at 7 p.m.
