Robert J. Daigle, 88, of Fannett, died Saturday, August 19, 2017, in Fannett. Mr. Daigle, a native of Morgan City, served his Country in the United States Navy. A resident of the Sabine Pass and Fannett area for the last 49 years, Mr. Daigle attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired supply boat captain.

Mr. Daigle is survived by his wife, Shirley Mae Daigle; three sons, Russell Daigle of Nashua, NH, Tracey Daigle and Robert Daigle Jr. both of Galveston; two daughters, Sherry Keneson and Chenelle Pennington both of Fannett; two sisters, Mary Halter of Dallas, Helen Eschette of New Orleans. Mr. Daigle also leaves ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, from 5:00 – 8:00pm; the recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6:00. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fannett with the interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
