Bessie M. Ina, 92, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her family.  A native of New Iberia, Louisiana she was longtime resident of Port Arthur, Texas and owner of Ina’s Cleaners.  Bessie was a member of New St. John Baptist Church and a graduate of Lincoln High School.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Sallie (Hobert); son Welby Jill (Netria); grandchildren, Monald Marie (Dwayne deceased) and Kaelyn Ina; great-grandchildren, Quendon and Andrew Calhoun, Cameron and Christian Jones; great-great grandchildren, Carson, Cassie, Cebastian Calhoun, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at New St. John Baptist Church with visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
