Mrs. Marion Lena McCarthy, 95 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born on April 12, 1922 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Oscar and Edna Boudreaux.

She was a licensed cosmetologist for over 62 years; owner/operator of Marion’s Beauty Salon located in Port Arthur. She was a faithful member of  The Apostolic Academy Center of Nederland, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Gary Armagh.   

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Wilfredo McCarthy), son (Wilbert Bellain), brother (Oscar Boudreaux), and sister (Helen Bailey).

She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 children, Imogene Anderson, Warren Bellain (Marilyn), Richard Bellain (Rosa), O’neal McCarthy (Betty), Pamela Thomas (Cecil), 14 grandchildren, and  31 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Moody-Harris Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn.
