Joyce Crorey, beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, 75, of Huntsville, Texas formerly of Port Arthur, TX, passed away on July 13, 2017.  Born June 1, 1942 in Port Arthur, she is preceded by her parents Robert and Lucille (Watson) Johnson of Port Arthur, Texas and her late husband of 45 years, Frank Allen Crorey, Sr. of Roseville, Michigan.

Joyce fell in love with Frank as far back as grade school.  The childhood sweethearts married April 15, 1961 and raised a loving Christian family of 3 children.  While raising her family, Joyce helped Frank build up a successful plumbing business in the Port Arthur area, which later grew into a home construction/remodeling business, in which many projects were recognized in various areas of Texas.  Joyce loved her family and enjoyed landscape projects, remodeling, juke boxes, 50’s music, deer hunting, Sunday football, bingo, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved Frank and spoke of him everyday until the day she joined him in heaven.  Joyce was hardworking, caring and a loving beautiful Mom and grandmother that will be missed everyday.   She was the one the entire family went to for advice.  We love you so much and will never let you out of our hearts.  Your beautiful smile and memories will remain with us forever.

She is survived by her two sons Frank A. Crorey, Jr. and wife Yvette of Lumberton, Tx, Steve M. Crorey of Austin, Tx, daughter Elaine H. Dawson McQuillin and husband Kyle of Magnolia, Tx, grandchildren Reagan Hunter Crorey, Austen Dakota Crorey and husband Mateus Milhomens, Cassidy Crorey, Madison Dawson, Spencer Dawson, Gracie Dawson and step grandson Korey Pedigo and wife Danielle and daughter Tyler; sisters Pat May, Fannie Morrison, Julie Roberts and brother Robert Johnson, Jr. and wife Amanda, nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
