Harry Maurice Harbert, 73, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Harry was born April 25, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas to Maurice Alexander Harbert and Mary Elizabeth Peck Harbert.
He was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and retired from Carpenters Local 610-551 after 50 years of service. He was a member of Louisiana Quarter Horse Association.
Survivors include numerous race horses to many to be named; sister, Marilyn Sullivan of Lake Charles, LA; sister-in-law, Gene Harbert of Port Arthur, TX; nieces, Kim McCool of Sulphur, LA and Kay Lynn Stemmann of Lake Charles, LA; nephews, Brent Sullivan of Moss Bluff, LA and Earl Harbert, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Sunday visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Kirk McCool officiating.
