GROVES — Groves Chamber of Commerce will soon begin accepting applications for its annual Pecan Festival Queen’s Scholarship Pageant.

Applications will be available starting June 1 through Noon July 14. The pageant will be held Sept. 23.

Girls age 3 years to 12^th grade that live in Groves may pick up applications at the Groves Chamber of Commerce, 4399 Main Ave.

Completed applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Each category will be limited to 15 contestants. Once the category is filled no more applications will be accepted. Categories go by grade. The categories are: Petite Miss, 3yrs.- PK; Little Miss, K – 1^st grade; Duchess, 2^nd – 3^rd grade; Countess, 4^th– 5^th grade; Junior Miss, 6^th– 7^th grade; Princess, 8^th – 9^th grade; Queen, 10^th – 12^th grade;

No late applications will be accepted.
