Max Bowl has set up their summer leagues for veteran and first-time bowlers.

Let’s get going with this past week’s highlights. Leagues are winding down and roll-offs are taking place this upcoming week.

Wednesday morning Queen Tumblers crowned the Bowling Buddies as this year’s champions. Joyce, Martha, Connie and Flo held strong all season to capture the championship. Queen Tumblers also featured this week’s top senior female bowler. Alice Barnes, who has been steady in holding that top spot all year once again, leads the ladies. Alice shot games of 186, 200 and 193 for a 597 series.

Saturday morning’s Stars of Tomorrow had Blaine Seymour igniting the lanes with games of 251, 222 and 234 for a massive 707 series.

The rest of this week’s leaders come from the ever competitive Thursday night Energy Country Ford/Allstate League. Let’s begin with Don Pastor. Don led all the senior men this week with games of 219, 287 and 221 for a 727 series. Sami Jo Williams led all the women bowlers this week with games of 214, 244 and 235 for a 693 series.

This week’s top bowler is Ronnie Sonnier. Ronnie was near perfect in his second game of the night as he pocketed the first 11 shots and then came up one pin shy on his 12th ball for a 299 game. Ronnie rolled games of 237 and 247 around that 299 on his way to a 783 series.
