Stella Mae Ford, 71, of Port Arthur died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX.  A native of Lemoyen, LA, she was a resident of Port Arthur for 47 years and was a member of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church as a faithful servant.

Stella is survived by a longtime friend Joseph Archie Lavine; her sons, Devon C. Ford, Sr. (Kynisha) and Kendrick Ford of Port Arthur, TX and Andre Robinson (Vlayna) of New York; two brothers Abram Ford (Dianna) of Port Arthur, TX and James Ford of Lemoyen, LA; four sisters Mable Seals (Roy), Olevia VanWright (Stafford), Dorothy Salsberry all of Port Arthur, TX and Dianna McGee (Joseph) of Bunkie, LA; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild, as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 12 noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
