The victim told investigators he was driving on Aunt Sadie approaching FM 2902 when he observed what he thought to be a white Dodge Caravan, pulled into a lot and that the van looked suspicious. He said he was looking back toward the van and approaching the stop sign and felt an object hit his face. He drove a short distance to a friend’s house and contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

The van was gone when officers arrived but investigators are following several leads and at this time the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
