Groves Police responded to the following calls from April 26 through May 2
Wednesday, April 26
- A barking dog complaint was made in the 5900 block of Jackson.
- An assault was reported in the 6300 block of Dave.
- The theft of cash was reported in the 6700 block of 25th Street.
- The possession of a dangerous drug was investigated after a traffic stop in the 4900 block of 25th Street.
Thursday, April 27
- A City of Groves garbage can was stolen from the 4500 block of Lee.
- A 38-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 4500 block of Karen.
Friday, April 28
- A 27-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5500 block of Beaumont.
- A 34-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after officers were called to a disturbance in the 3700 block of Pure Atlantic.
- A 38-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6100 block of Groves.
Saturday, April 29
- A 51-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication when officers were called to the 5500 block of Park about a disturbance.
- An aggravated assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- A 34-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Main.
- A 27-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3200 block of Twin City Highway.
- A 20–year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Main
Sunday, April 30
- Aggravated assault was reported in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
- A 32-year-old-woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 4700 block of Twin City Highway.
- A 24-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic Road.
- Assault was reported in the 2700 block of Second Avenue.
- A 28-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 2300 block of Main.
Monday, May 1
- Pioneer stereo system was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- An assault complaint was made in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
- A 36-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Hogaboom.
- Two Echo weed trimmers and a Craftsman chainsaw were stolen from the 7100 block of Terrell.
- Several items were stolen from a storage building in the 4800 block of Pure Atlantic Highway.
- A chainsaw was stolen from the 4600 block of Inwood.
- An assault was reported in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
Tuesday, May 2
- Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Assault was reported in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
- Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 6200 block of Madison.
- A 36-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant with another agency after a traffic stop at Twin City Highway/Hogaboom Road.
- Theft was reported in the 7100 block of Terrell.
- Burglary of a building was reported in the 4600 block of Inwood.
- Assault was reported in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
